I can't believe it's Monday already. It was so so so busy I hardly had a chance to breathe! I wrote my exam on Friday after work and it went fairly well. I'm not sure why they decided a written exam was better than an online one because I had to write FIVE essays and my hand was going to fall off near the end. I wrote less just because my hand wasn't cooperating.

We headed out to the racetrack to watch some street legal cars after my exam which was a hoot as usual. It was even more packed than normal because all the cars for a huge weekend even were there getting set up. T drooled over pretty much all of them and we decided to go back to see them in action.

On Saturday, my car needed a service, and it turned out I ended up having a brake problem covered by my warranty which was fine but it meant we had to wait for three hours rather than one and a half. T and I wandered around the mall, had coffee and browsed cars we can't afford. It was good because he was with me. If I had to wait alone, I'd be pulling out my hair by then. As soon as we got home, T's friends from out of town pulled up to our house and we ate lunch and then went to the highland games (pipe bands, caber toss, highland dancing etc) which I go to every year (I'm like 1/8 scottish). I don't think T had as much fun as I did, but he put up with it well. We went out for dinner, then icecream, grocery shopping then home..and oh my god I was tired.

Apparently, not tired enough cause we got up at 8 the next morning to go out for breakfast and then spend most of the day at the track watching the pro cars race (and pro mod cars!). Some of these cars are so fast I can't even imagine what it would feel like to be in it. 245 miles per hour (For some reason at the track they always use mph rather than kmph even though we're in Canada - for my Canadian friends that's 378 km/hr!!!)

Sitting in the sun all day makes me even more exhausted. We came home, BBQ'd and crashed. When my alarm went off this morning I was cursing it.

Anyways - crazy busy! Most I've done in a weekend in a long time. As T says, it's exhausting entertaining people!

Happy Monday :)
